Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Daily Shorts Publisher (the “Service”), operated by Marco Rau in Germany, handles information when an account owner connects a TikTok account.

Information we process

With the account owner's authorization, the Service may process the TikTok account identifier, display name, avatar, granted permissions, access and refresh tokens, video metadata, publishing status and performance information made available through TikTok's APIs. The Service also processes videos, captions and scheduling instructions supplied for publication.

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the authorized account, prepare and publish requested content, prevent duplicate uploads, refresh authorization, show publishing status, diagnose failures and improve the quality of the publishing workflow.

Storage and security

Credentials and tokens are stored with access controls and encryption appropriate to the operating environment. Secrets are not displayed in the user interface or embedded in published videos. Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the data against unauthorized access.

Sharing

Information is sent to TikTok only as required to provide the requested TikTok functionality. We do not sell personal information. Service providers used for secure hosting, storage or delivery process only the information needed to perform their function.

Retention and deletion

Authorization data is retained while an account remains connected and is deleted when it is no longer required, when access is revoked, or following a valid deletion request, subject to limited security and legal records. Account owners can revoke access in TikTok's security settings.
